David, the creator of these elegant planters, sells his pottery on the side of a Kumasi road. He began as an apprentice to his father as a young boy, digging up dry clay in the plantain forest, mixing it with water and mashing the clay with his feet until it became moldable. Today, David makes dozens of pieces a day.
Use David's pieces in your home for a touch of earthen, artisanal beauty. (10 inch diameter)
We're giving back 10% of proceeds to our partner Global Servants to help provide chicken, fish and rice to our friends at House of Grace Home for girls in Kumasi, Ghana. To learn more, visit OUR IMPACT page.
